Stainless Steel 430 Hollow Bar is a ferritic stainless steel that contains about 16–18% chromium and has very low carbon content. This unique composition gives it good resistance to oxidation and mild corrosion while keeping its mechanical properties stable. The material boasts moderate tensile and yield strength, decent hardness, and satisfactory ductility, making it suitable for various forming and machining tasks. It doesn’t need heat treatment for hardening and has magnetic properties, along with solid resistance to stress corrosion cracking under normal service conditions.
